Verify business identity

Compare the legal name, DBA, EIN, address, phone, industry, officers, and registration status across official records, bank accounts, licenses, and bureau files. Correct inconsistencies through the proper source.

Review multiple reports

Commercial bureaus collect different data and use different models. Obtain relevant reports directly, note every account and public record, and avoid assuming one score represents every lender.

Document real errors

For an account that is not yours or a balance that is wrong, collect statements, payment records, contracts, and correspondence. Submit a specific dispute and preserve confirmation numbers and responses.

Manage utilization and due dates

High revolving balances reduce flexibility. Build a payment calendar, prioritize on-time status, and reduce expensive balances without draining operating cash needed for payroll or taxes.

Avoid synthetic shortcuts

Do not use a CPN, false EIN, purchased identity, altered document, or fake tradeline to conceal obligations. Accurate negative information may require time and better current behavior rather than deletion.
